جمال الوجود بذكر الاله
The beauty of existence is remembering Allah

وتصفو الحياة بنور هداه
Than life becomes pure with his guidance of light

وتطرب نفسه له طاعة
And the soul becomes assured in His obedience

وتبلغ سعد إلى منتهاه
Then happiness reaches its utmost peak

فؤاد شغوف إلى ربه
A heart full of passion for its Lord

أحب رضاه أحب لقاه
Which loves to satisfy Him and to meet Him

يضل يجيء إلى ربوة
Keeps returning to sublimity of prayer

قرار ويسمو وذا مبتغاه
For him it’s his home and all what he wants

فلا لهو يثنيه عن سيره
Not any amusement can divert him from his march

ولا جمع مال تغشى هواه
Nor collecting wealth can blind his eyes

إذا ما ينادي منادي الفلاح
And when the caller calls towards success

تراه لذاك يحث خطاه
You see him walk towards it, answering the call

يتمتم ربي ايا غافرا
Whispering “my Lord, o forgiver of sins”

رجوتك عفوا ولا لي سواه
Your pardon is what I seek and nothing else

ودمع يسيل على مصحف
And tears that drip on Your book

به يغسل الله سخما اتاه
By which Allah removes the sins

فتلك سجايا لقلب سليم
That's how a sound heard should beat

إلى الله دوما تدور رحاه
Towards Allah it always keeps returning

فيا سعد من كان ذا همة
How happy is he who has high aim

إلى جنة في اعالي سماه
To paradise in the highest of heavens
